Polar Star Logistics offers new services to major Russian destinations:

  • Moscow’s Vnukovo (VKO) and Domodedovo (DME) airports
  • Siberia’s Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport (OVB)

Located in chilly Siberia, Novosibirsk is Russia’s third city, with a population of over one and a half million. Its convenient geographical location connects Siberia with Europe and the rest of the world, and trade to, from and through the region has always been steady, thanks to the Trans-Siberian railway and Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo Airport.

Novosibirsk really is the gateway to Siberia.
As one of only two cargo sales agents representing S7 Airlines in the UAE, we’re delighted to announce that Polar Star Logistics is now offering cargo services on Dubai – Novosibirsk flights. Departing three times per week, flights to Tolmachevo Airport (OVB) take off every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Novosibirsk is the administrative centre of the Siberian Federal District, and is a large industrial centre for industries includingaerospace, nuclear fuel, turbo- and hydroelectric generators, textile machinery, agriculture machinery, and electronics components and devices production. Popular imports also include fruit and vegetables, and oil and gas fields as well as rich mineral reserves in the eastern part of the region make this destination a key player in Russia’s local and global trade. The city’s Aviation Repair Plant serves the wider region and global helicopter and aviation industry.

As well as being Siberia’s cultural capital, Novosibirsk is a hub of trade activity. The Expocentre opened its door to traders from around the world in January, 2012, and now hosts a diverse collection of major international industry exhibitions – from furniture, to food, to IT, to tourism. The Expocentre offers a truly dynamic showcase of regional and global trades and industries.
Russia’s rich capital, Moscow, is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific hub and the city’s economy accounts for a huge percentage of Russia’s wealth. Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant is one of the leading producers of military and civil helicopters around the globe.

This September, as cargo sales agent for Transaero, Polar Star launches cargo services to Moscow’s Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports. Flights will depart to both destinations 4 times per week. We’re offering great rates and a bigger capacity for cargo space than our competitors.
We’re also privileged to be providing airport handling services in Dubai International Airport for Russia’s third-largest airline,

S7 Airlines – so, time and time again, you can be sure PolarStar is a name you can trust.

So whether you’re transporting perishables, heavy equipment, aviation equipment, consumer goods, textiles or oil field equipment, we offer you access to Russia at great rates and the PolarStar service you expect.
