It is customary to call Dangerous Goods such cargo which as a result can cause damage to life, the health of people, animals and the environment. (in case of improper transportation or accident). There are 9 main groups:
- Toxic & Infectious Substances
- Flammable Solids
- Radioactive Material
- Oxidizing Substances
- Flammable Liquids
- Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods
There are main and additional hazards. For example, methanol has a major flammability danger, hence poisonousness is an additional danger. We don’t consider artificially created hazards.
